§ 1. The organization's name and headquarters
The name of the organization is community for peace and development in Kurdistan, the
Kurdish acronym is CAPK.
The organization operates in all of Sweden.
The association has its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
§ 2. The organization's purpose and objectives
Society for Peace and Development in Kurdistan (CAPK) is formed to work to promote, develop and encourage the Kurdish community and work towards implementation of the following purposes.
To promote and present the Kurdish culture, through the development of culture,
literature and the Kurdish identity in the Eastern (Iranian) Kurdistan.
For the development and strengthening of dialogue and political and social tolerance,
which should lead to the strengthening of democratic culture in Kurdistan.
To create understanding and development of those human values and human rights in order to defend peace and peaceful coexistence between different ethnic groups,
political and cultural associations and organizations through dialogue.
To promote and make visible the Kurdistan historical, cultural, political, social and
national values.
To respect for human rights, working for a multicultural and pluralistic society free from discrimination, fear and injustice.
To prioritize and promote efforts to eliminate those inequalities that exists against
women in Kurdistan, by actively working against the injustices of forced marriages and
work for the women to decide over their own lives and become independent.
To stimulate and enable society and its forces to counter the phenomenon of suicide.
CAPK seems to help the Kurds in the Diaspora to adapt and integrate them into society they live in.
CAPK supports young people for self-development and equality between man and
woman in the home and society. The association supports the Kurds in Diaspora
(Sweden) to actively participate in economic, political and social issues.
CAPK seems to weapons of mass destruction and ensuring a healthy and decent society for people of Kurdistan. The association is working to gain international support for a peaceful solution to the Kurdish question in Iran.
CAPK promotes the dissemination of knowledge on the situation of human rights in
Kurdistan.
CAPK follows peaceful and civilized means to achieve their goals.
In their activity seems CAPK against any anti-Kurdish policies, while revealing
shortcomings and unfairness in the Kurdish society and working to eliminate these
shortcomings.
In their business and leadership CAPK follows democratic principles.
CAPK is working to create community and cooperation between the Kurdish society and the international community.
§ 3. Activities
Objectives:
The business plan includes dissemination of information, enlightenment, arrangement of training courses and forums, counseling and other activities to create contacts.
Conducting workshops on democracy, human rights, gender equality.
Cooperation and solidarity with those associations and international bodies working and believe in solving problems through dialogue.
§ 4. Membership
Individual person can join the CAPK, if they accept CAPKs statutes.
Application for membership is made in writing by filling out the membership form. The Board decides on membership.
All members are equal and have the same rights and shall be equivalent to exploit and get help from CAPKs resources.
The membership fee payable to the organization's accounts before CAPKs AGM. The fee can be paid once or in two installments.
Listing:
The processing of membership application takes into accounts the following points:
Must be no younger than 15 years
Do not be a member of another organization whose purpose is to CAPKs
§ 5. Members' commitment
To work to CAPKs goal.
To the implementation of the tasks you are assigned.
To pay membership dues.
§ 6. Exclusion of members
If any member does not meet their responsibilities and their obligations or subscribes to CAPKs statutes and objectives, governing bodies have the right to:
1. Give verbal reprimand
2. Give written reprimand
3. Freeze membership
4. Only the annual general meeting may exclude members of CAPK.

The longest period of exclusion from membership is up to one year.

§ 8. CAPKs AGM
1. The AGM is CAPKs highest decision making body which is held every two years. To the
Annual General Meeting shall be lawful, must be at least 1 / 3 of members be represented. If not, the AGM be postponed a month.
2. Notice of AGM are sent to members not later than two months in advance.
3. Finance and Activity Report must be completed one month before the AGM.
4. The AGM may elect members of CAPKs various agencies outside their own members.
5. The Board may invite envoys from other parties and organizations as a guest or
speaker.
6. In order that a decision can be taken at the AGM of the majority principle, with the
exception of clause 18 and 20, with majority rule means that a majority is 50 + 1;
§ 9th AGM responsibility
The AGM is the highest governing body.
The AGM is to review the organization's financial and activity reports.
The AGM decides on the guidelines that apply between two AGMs.
Vote for a new board.
Selects the framework of the constitution and responsibilities of the Board and
Executive Committee.
Listing:
Members of the Board can not be elected to the Audit Committee.
§ 10. Extraordinary General Meeting
Board or 1 / 3 part of the members can ask for an extra annual general meeting.
Extraordinary General Meeting has the responsibility and legitimacy as the annual
general meeting.
The Board shall be at least four weeks before the AGM gives an extra place and time
Reports of activity, the economy and subject to be discussed at the AGM last two weeks before the AGM to be supplied by members.
§ 11. Board
The Board consists of 9 members and 3 alternates.
At least 30% of board members must be men or women.
Each board member assigned to space in any of those various business divisions, which
committees for general business, economics, information and media, human rights,
communication and contact and plan projects and more.
The Board is CAPKs highest body between two AGMs.
The Board appoints members to the Executive Committee.
The Board's meeting at least every three months. The Press Country Committee
presents report to the Board meeting.
The Board is accountable to the AGM.
If a member of the Board resign or be deprived of his post is filled by the alternate line.
If members of the Board has been granted absent without cause for two meetings in a
row, lose his / her Board position.
Board appoints Nominating Committee.
If necessary, the President may, on request of the executive committee shall convene
the board meeting.
§ 12th Executive Committee
The President and Secretary are automatically members of the Executive Committee.
The Executive Committee is responsible for implementing the Board's decision between two board meetings.
The Executive Committee consists of 3 members and 2 alternates.
The Executive Committee shall have at least one meeting per month. If one member
and one alternate member considers it necessary it may request an extraordinary
meeting of the Executive Committee.
As a member of the Executive Committee is absent in three consecutive meetings he / she may lose his/her position as board member and the first alternate is emerging as a
replacement.
§ 13th Auditor Committee
Annual General Meeting elects the auditors.
Auditor Committee consists of three members and two alternates.
Observes and examines CAPKs economy until the AGM.
Controlling the organization's revenue and expenditure and report to the Board twice a year.
§ 14. Nominating Committee
Nomination Group appointed by the Board.
Members of the Executive Committee shall not be elected to the AGM's Nomination
Committee.
Nomination Group consists of three people.
Nomination Group consists of 3 members.
AGM Nomination Committee shall be 3 months before the AGM have started work.
§ 15th Convening a meeting
The Board shall be in writing, via email or via information channels CAPKs convene
members to the AGM.
§ 16th CAPKs signatory
President and Treasurer of the organization are signatory.
§ 17th CAPKs Statutes
Only the AGM is entitled to change the organization's regulations and programmes. In
order to change the statutes and programmes, a majority of 2 / 3 is required.
§ 18th CAPKs Economy
1. CAPKs capital in the form of money is kept in bank accounts. President and Treasurer
manages CAPKs accounts. President and Treasurer of the organization may spend up to
5000 crowns with no decision from the Executive Committee. If the amount exceeds
5000 crowns, the Executive Committee takes a decision.
1. CAPKs revenue based on:
a. membership fees
b. Proceeds from CAPKs activities
c. Grants from various CONTRIBUTORS
d. Donations
§ 19th CAPKs Resolution
1. Decisions on CAPKs resolution can only be taken by the AGM.
2. For the dissolution of CAPK requires a majority of 4 / 5.
3. The notice of the AGM will participants be informed of the resolution.
4. After the dissolution of CAPK, all assets shall be distributed between the clubs and
organizations with similar goals and objectives.
This statute is proposed by the Group for 2008-12-22 formation of CAPK in Stockholm-Sweden to be accepted by the AGM.
